TriSpan invested in Real Good Dental, a Scottish group of dental practices, in June 2021. The dental care sector in the UK remains highly fragmented providing strategic investment opportunities for growth. Plans to accelerate the growth of the business include the expansion of the group’s footprint and service offering in addition to strengthening the group’s overall capabilities.

Founded in 2012 by Dr. Jagdeep Hans following the acquisition of a dental practice in Kelty, RGD has since grown through acquisitions, creating the second largest dental group in Scotland. In 2018, RGD joined forces with Dr. Usman Goheer’s aesthetics company, Westerwood Health. RGD operates practices around Scotland’s “central belt” covering ~85% of its population.
